Kinesiology is a natural, non-invasive but powerful therapy. It is the science that uses muscle monitoring to test muscles that are out of balance within the body. It is a belief that unfavourable emotions and stressful mental mind states impact the wellbeing of one’s body. Our physical body will be better equipped to heal itself of ill health when we are in a greater state of balance mentally and emotionally.
Kinesiology is a great mind-body modality that finds the causes for a decline in wellbeing on many levels and by addressing the underlying or hidden “cause”, Kinesiology then facilitates and supports the body to recuperate and integrate optimum wellness.
We, as human beings, are multi-faceted. Our mental, emotional and physical being are controlled by our fears, habits and beliefs. Our genetics influence our health and the way we do life. We not only inherit our hair and eye colour from our ancestors but perhaps also their behaviours, fears, health traits and so on, which form part of our unique paradigm. Our vitality can be affected by all these factors.
KINESIOLOGY PRINCIPLES
KINESIOLOGY PRINCIPLES are used to establish the appropriate context to the recuperation process. This is related to a person’s imbalances or disturbances on a MENTAL, EMOTIONAL, PHYSICAL or BIO-CHEMICAL level. The communication between these is implemented via the MERIDIAN SYSTEM. Here, we find out how our FEARS, HABITS and BELIEFS affect our patterns in life; how DEEP STATES access our genetic inheritance in time and space; and how our ENERGY is affected when there are blockages or imbalances on so many levels in life.
How does stress effect us?
Experiencing stress, unpleasant emotions or shock has an enormous effect on the wellbeing of our body and our neurology. Our brain goes into survival mode.
The brain has two hemispheres, the left and the right. There are neural connections between the left and right brain called the CORPUS CALLOSUM. This serves as a relay circuit and bridges the left and right hemispheres of the brain to work together to function properly.
When we are stressed or when abnormal circumstances are experienced, the brain is under attack. The brain utilises blood from the body, which includes about 30% of nutrition, energy and oxygen from the body. The body needs this blood at this time just to survive. This deliberately restricts the activity of the CORPUS CALLOSUM. The brain now survives on minimum support. The CORPUS CALLOSUM now closes down signals to the right hemisphere of the brain and the frontal lobes of both hemispheres.
This affects creativity, free thinking, our intuition, our memory, our motor skills, consciousness, word association, executing clear judgment and so on. Since the right hemisphere controls the left side of your body, this affects the functioning of our body, our minds and our zest for life. Kinesiology may assist in integrating the left and right brain, creating a different, more positive and a clearer reality.
